Sitting by the water sipping a specialty coffee, or cozying up inside a cool coffee café is one of my simple pleasures in life. Have it either way at The French Press, located at Cape Harbour in Cape Coral, 5789 Cape Harbour Drive, #101, Cape Coral, Florida, 239-542-0212. Accessible by car or by boat. Open seven days a week from 7 am till 10 pm.
In addition to wonderful coffee selections (I had a great Snickerdoodle—vanilla and cinnamon!), you can also indulge in healthy French selections such as crepes, quiche, paninis, sandwiches, pastries, seasonal soups, and salads. Did I mention the homemade gelato? Oh yeah!
Being pretty health conscious, I appreciate the fact that The French Press uses many organic ingredients and has daily deliveries of fresh fruits and vegetables from local growers.
Should you choose a table out by the water, this is a fun place to watch foot and boat traffic go by. They even put out water dishes for pets. If you prefer inside, the vibe is cool and you can definitely hold conversations or opt to work on your laptop. Surrounded by fun specialty shops, and a couple of restaurants and bars, you can definitely spend a morning, afternoon or evening.
Putting it simply, we’ve had several great experiences at The French Press. Should you find yourself in the area, this is a worthwhile stop.
I hope you can stop by for a cup, soon or someday!
